London based Gibraltarian composer, songwriter and sound designer, Hollie Buhagiar, is an alumna of the National Film and Television School and Leeds College of Music.

Hollie brings together her experience with traditional composition, songwriting and music production to develop rich and characterful scores.  This often involves recording found sounds and experimenting with her own voice to create unique sonic palettes for each production.

Hollie scored the BAFTA winning animation short Poles Apart and was named Best Composer at the Underwire Film Festival in 2018 for Baggage, as well as receiving a nomination for Best Sound Design at the Offie Awards with her theatre debut Collective Rage: A Play In Five Betties.  She is also in-demand as a vocalist having most recently worked on the eleventh season of Doctor Who for the BBC.

Her recent score credits include the feature documentary Conscientious Protectors: A Story of Rebellion Against Extinction, the untold story of how Extinction Rebellion rallied the largest civil disobedience of a generation, Sandstorm, the first ever Pakistani short film to premiere at Sundance Film Festival, Cradled, part of the Channel 4 / Blacklight On The Edge anthology drama series, and the forthcoming animated short film Bug Therapy (Citronella Stories / Epic Games) starring Meghan Trainor, Jay Leno, and Sterling K. Brown.
